2. Install upper spring seat with its cutout facing the outer side of vehicle, in line with the strut-to-knuckle attachment points.
3. Replace strut lower mounting nuts.
4. When installing strut to knuckle, be sure to hold bolts and tighten nuts to 118 - 147 Nm (87 - 1 08 ft. lbs.)
