Shift Solenoid: Description and Operation

DESCRIPTION 

Shift solenoid valves "A" and "B" are turned ON or OFF by the A/T control unit in response to signals sent from the inhibitor switch, vehicle speed
and throttle position sensors. Gears will then be shifted to the optimum position.
