Check continuity between terminals (4) and (11) of key switch harness connector.

When key is inserted into key cylinder
Yes
When key is removed from key cylinder
No
Stop lamp switch Check stop lamp switch after adjusting brake pedal - refer to section BR.

Check continuity between terminals (3) and (2) of stop lamp switch harness connector.
Condition
Continuity
When brake pedal is depressed
Yes
When brake pedal is released
No
