After the oil warms to above 50~F (10~C), the noise typically goes away.

If an Applied Vehicle exhibits the noise described above, use the following service procedure.

NOTE:

The countermeasure presented in this bulletin will only eliminate this cold oil temperature related noise. Warm temperature related incidents
will not be affected.
