Heater Core: Service and Repair

A/C UNIT ASSEMBLY

HEATER CORE : Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Remove A/C unit assembly.  See: Housing Assembly HVAC/Service and Repair/Automatic Air Conditioner (automatic air conditioner), See:

Housing Assembly HVAC/Service and Repair/Manual Air Conditioner (manual air conditioner) or See: Housing Assembly HVAC/Service and
Repair/Manual Heater (manual heater).

2. Remove heater pipe grommet and heater pipe support from A/C unit assembly.
3. Remove foot duct LH.  See: Air Duct/Service and Repair/Exploded View.
4. Remove mounting screw, and then slide heater core to leftward.
5. Remove heater core from A/C unit assembly.

INSTALLATION
Installation is basically the reverse order of removal.
