IMPORTANT SERVICE PARTS NOTE:

The U.S. built and Japan built propeller shaft configurations are different. The service parts listed above are only for use on U.S. built trucks equipped
with the U.S. manufactured propeller shaft shown on page 1/2 of this bulletin. This shaft can be identified by the straps used to secure the center journal
(indicated by the arrow in the illustration. Please note that some U.S. built trucks are equipped with Japanese manufactured shafts. If the propeller shaft
being serviced does not have the journal strap just described, it is Japanese manufactured and does not require dust cover replacement. Service
information on these propeller shafts can be found in Technical Bulletin PD87-003(TS87-131).
