Parking Brake Shoe: Service and Repair

Rotor Removal

SHOE REPLACEMENT

1. Remove disc rotor (With parking brake drum). Tighten two bolts gradually if disc rotor is hard to remove.

2. After removing retainer, remove spring.

NOTE:Be careful not to damage parking brake cable when separating it.

Grease Application Points

3. Apply brake grease to the contact areas shown at left.
