Accelerator Pedal: Description and Operation
Accelerator Pedal And Throttle Cable
PURPOSE
Allows operator control over throttle valve opening.
LOCATION
Mounted to the firewall inside the passenger compartment.
OPERATION
When the accelerator pedal is depressed, it pulls the inner wire of the throttle cable, which in turn opens the throttle valve.
