Vehicle Speed Sensor: Description and Operation
COMPONENT DESCRIPTION
The vehicle speed sensor is installed in the transmission. It contains a pulse generator which provides a vehicle speed signal to the speedometer.
The speedometer then sends a signal to the ECM.
