a. Measure the top of the A/C compressor pulley. See Figure 2.
b. Measure the bottom of the A/C compressor pulley. See Figure 3.

The difference should be no more than 1 mm (0.040 in) between the top and bottom of the pulley.

If it is more than 1mm, adjust the A/C compressor position.
7. Adjust the alignment as follows:

Loosen, but do not remove the bolts on the A/C compressor (3 bolts).

Adjust the position of the A/C compressor so it is aligned as true as possible to the crankshaft pulley (A/C compressor pulley top and bottom gap
difference less than 1mm).
