Heater Core: Service and Repair

HEATER CORE

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1. Drain cooling system.Disconnect the two heater hoses from the engine compartment side.
3. Remove the cooling unit. See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Evaporator Case/Service and Repair
4. Remove the steering member assembly. See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair
5. Remove the heater unit.
6. Remove the heater core.

INSTALLATION

Installation is the reverse order of removal.
