If the speed or distance must necessarily be greater, remove the propeller shaft before hand to prevent damage to the transmission. NISSAN recommends
that the vehicle be towed with the driving (front) wheels off the ground as illustrated.

4WD Models

4-WHEEL DRIVE MODELS

NISSAN recommends that a dolly be used as illustrated when towing 4-wheel drive models.

CAUTION:

-

When towing with the front wheels on the ground or rear wheels on the ground (If you do not use towing dollies): Set the free-running hubs to the
free position and move the transfer case shift lever into the "2H" position.

When towing with the front on the ground: Turn the ignition key to the OFF position and secure the steering wheel in a straight ahead position
with a rope or similar device. Never place the ignition key in the LOCK position. This will result in damage to the steering lock mechanism.

When towing manual transmission models with the rear wheels on the ground:

Always release the parking brake and move the transmission shift lever to the neutral position.

Observe the following restricted towing speeds and distances.
Speed: Below 95 km/h (60 MPH)

Distance: Less than 800 km (500 miles)
