Repairs and Inspections Required After A Collision

To repair the SRS, perform the following steps.

When SRS is activated in a collision:

1. Replace the air bag diagnosis sensor unit.
2. Remove the air bag modules.
3. Check the SRS components using the table shown.

Replace any SRS components showing visible signs of damage (dents, cracks and deformation).

4. Install new air bag modules.
5. Conduct Self-diagnosis. Refer to "SRS Operation Check".
