Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber: Service and Repair
Rear

1.

Raise and support rear of vehicle, do not jack up at parallel links or radius rods.

2.

Disconnect brake hydraulic line and parking brake cable at equalizer.

3.

Remove parallel link, radius rod, stabilizer, parking brake fixing bolts, then stabilizer connecting rod brackets Fig. 9.

4.

Remove rear seat and parcel shelf assembly.

5.

Remove upper strut securing nuts, then remove strut.

6.

Reverse procedure to install.
