Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair

1.

On models with airbag, disable airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG ARMING & DISARMING.

2.

On models less airbag, disconnect battery ground cable.

3.

On all models, remove cluster lid or instrument panel facia.

4.

Remove radio bracket to instrument panel attaching screws.

5.

Disconnect radio electrical connectors, then remove radio from vehicle.

6.

Reverse procedure to install. Rearm airbag system, if equipped, as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG ARMING &
DISARMING.
