INSPECTION

Using a feeler gauge, check the following clearances:

If any clearence exceeds the limit, replace gear set or entire oil pump assembly.

Fig. 47  Oil Pan Sealant Application.

Tighten oil pan attaching nuts in sequence, Fig. 46, to specifications. Apply suitable sealant to designated areas, Fig. 47.
