1.

Raise and support vehicle and remove wheel.

2.

Unfasten brake caliper assembly, leaving brake line attached.

3.

Separate driveshaft from steering knuckle by tapping on driveshaft.

4.

Disconnect tie-rod from ball joint, then remove lower ball joint attaching nuts.

5.

Remove steering knuckle-to-strut attaching bolts.

6.

Remove wheel hub and steering knuckle, Fig. 1, as an assembly.

7.

Separate wheel hub and steering knuckle using a suitable tool, Fig. 2.

1.

Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheels.

2.

Remove wheel bearing locknut, then caliper. Do not disconnect brake lines.

3.

Separate tie-rod from knuckle using suitable tool.

4.

Remove nuts and bolts as shown in Fig. 5, then knuckle assembly.

5.

Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Tighten wheel bearing to specifications.
b. Check wheel bearing axial endplay, it should be less than .0020 inches.
