Body Control Module: Service and Repair
BCM
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Removal
NOTE: If possible, before removing BCM, retrieve current BCM configuration to use for reference when configuring the new BCM after installation.
Refer to BCS-18, "Configuration". See: Body and Frame/Body Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Programming and Relearning
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the lower driver instrument panel.
3. Remove the screws and release the BCM from the steering member.
4. Disconnect the harness connectors and remove the BCM.
Installation
Installation in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
