VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN F04 AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SOLENOID VALVE ASSEMBLY

This bulletin contains supplemental information for NTB9B-049 that updates the Service Information section related to the Stall Test Procedure and the
removal of the control valve assembly. The ASIST version of NTB9B-049 was updated to include this supplemental information. Please attach this
bulletin to previously distributed copies of NTB9B-049.

SERVICE INFORMATION

This bulletin provides additional clarification for step 10 as shown in NTB98-049. Also, a warning statement was added to the Stall Test Procedure.

NOTE:

Be careful not to drop the manual valve shaft, the servo release accumulator return spring or the lip seals. Also be careful not to damage the control
valve assembly sealing gasket.
