INTRODUCTION

Self-sealing bolts for the Maxima and Stanza Wagon automatic transaxle side cover and converter housing are now available for use at those bolts where
transaxle leakage has occurred. In addition, the countermeasure self-sealing bolts should be used when the transaxle has been disassembled.

The new bolts can be identified by the sealing compound applied to the threaded area of the bolt. Use the following part number listing for ordering the
countermeasure bolts.
