Apply the 3M Scotch-Weld(TM) DP8005 Adhesive to the protector (see Figure 3).

A.

First, you must decide which color 3M Scotch-Weld(TM) DP8005 Adhesive to use.

There are two colors available: black or clear.

For vehicles with Beige or Gray carpet, use "Translucent" (clear).

For vehicles with Black carpet, use Black.

Assemble the 3M EPX(TM) Plus Applicator Gun. Use the 3M 10:1 Ratio Plunger, and the 3M 10:1 Ratio Mixing Nozzle. See Figure 2 for
more detail.

C.

Apply the adhesive 5 mm from the outside edge, and completely around the entire border of the protector.

IMPORTANT:

Do Not apply adhesive to the inner surface area of the protector.

You will have only 2 to 2-1/2 minutes time after applying the adhesive to align and install the protector.

Align the protector in the right place and install it onto the carpet area: (see Figure 4).
