2. Check continuity between rear seatback power return control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 4.
NO - Repair or replace harness.
4.CHECK RETURN COMPLETE LIMIT SWITCH (LH)
Check return complete limit switch (LH). Refer to See: LH/Component Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 5.
NO - Replace return complete limit switch (LH) [reclining device assembly (LH)]. Refer to See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Rear
Seat/Exploded View.
5.CHECK REAR SEATBACK POWER RETURN CONTROL UNIT OUTPUT SIGNAL
1. Connect rear seatback power return control unit connector.
2. Check voltage between rear seatback power return control unit harness connector and ground.

NOTE:
It is not low power consumption mode.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES - GO TO 6.
NO - Replace rear seatback power return control unit. Refer to See: Body and Frame/Relays and Modules - Body and Frame/Power Seat Control
Module/Service and Repair/Removal And Installation.
6.CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to See: Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Service Information For Electrical Incident/Intermittent Incident.

COMPONENT INSPECTION
1.CHECK RETURN COMPLETE LIMIT SWITCH (LH)
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect return complete limit switch (LH) connector.
3. Check return complete limit switch (LH).

Is the inspection result normal?
YES - Return complete limit switch (LH) is OK.
NO - Replace return complete limit switch (LH) [reclining device assembly (LH)]. Refer to See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Rear
Seat/Exploded View.
