AFTER BATTERY HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED
APPLIED VEHICLES:

IF YOU CONFIRM
After the vehicle battery was disconnected for more than 1 hour:

The engine now starts, but will not stay running, and/or
^
The idle speed is lower than factory specification,
NOTE:
The above incident may not occur until after the engine has warmed up, and/or the engine is turned OFF and restarted after "hot-soak" with the
engine still warm.
ACTIONS
If the engine will idle, perform Idle Air Volume Lean (IAVL)

If the engine will not idle, see step 2 in the Service Procedure.

If IAVL does not complete, see step 3 in the Service Procedure.
