Seals and Gaskets: Service and Repair

DIFFERENTIAL SIDE OIL SEAL

Removal and Installation

COMPONENTS

REMOVAL

1. Remove drive shaft assembly. Refer to "FRONT DRIVE SHAFT".
2. Remove transfer from transaxle assembly. (AWD models) Refer to "Removal and Installation".

3. Remove differential side oil seal using a flat-bladed screwdriver.

CAUTION: Be careful not to scratch transaxle case.
