Valve Cover: Service and Repair

ROCKER COVER 

REMOVAL 
1. Remove engine cover. 
2. Drain engine coolant, or when water hoses are disconnected, attach plug to prevent engine coolant leakage. 

CAUTION:  Perform this step when the engine is cold.

3. Remove front wiper arm and extension cowl top panel (lower and upper). 
4. Remove intake manifold collectors (upper and lower). (At the right bank side remove).
5. Remove ignition coil.
6. Remove PCV hoses from rocker covers.
7. Remove PCV valve and O-ring from rocker cover (right bank), if necessary.
8. Remove oil filler cap from rocker cover (left bank), if necessary.
