Removal and Installation

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
2. Remove engine undercover, using power tools.
3. Remove engine right side undercover.
4. Remove radiator and cooling fan assembly.
5. Remove exhaust manifold cover (left bank) and three way catalyst cover.
6. Remove engine main harness (left side) clip.
7. Remove oil pressure sensor harness clip and connector.
8. Remove air conditioner compressor switch harness connector.
9. Remove alternator and air conditioner compressor belt.

10. Remove idler pulley.
11. Remove alternator mounting nut using power tools.
12. Remove through-bolt.
