D21/WD21 A/C CHARGE SPECIFICATION AND LABELING

1993 Truck(D21)/Pathfinder(WD21)

SERVICE INFORMATION:

The A/C system for the 1993 D21/WD21 vehicles is designed to use R-134a Refrigerant. Nissan Technical Service Bulletins NTB92-001 (HA92-001,
"A/C System Changes for R134a Refrigerant") and NTB92-055 (HA92-003, "D21/WD21 A/C Changes for R-134a Refrigerant") describe the changes in
detail. This R-134a A/C system has a unique A/C specification label. Early production vehicles may have labels in an incorrect location or labels may be
missing. Remove and replace/relocate labels, as appropriate. Information regarding the correct label specifications and location is given below.

The A/C charge specification label on some early production vehicles with factory A/C systems may be in the incorrect location or the label may be
missing altogether. The correct location for the label is on the driver's side of the engine room wall (Figure 1).
