PATHFINDER POWER ANTENNA MODIFICATION

APPLIED MODEL:
1993 Pathfinder (WD21)

SERVICE INFORMATION

Some customers may complain about the power antenna mast not operating properly on 1993 Pathfinders (mast will not go up). This may be caused by
water entering the electric motor housing through a small gap between the antenna motor housing and the plastic antenna gear case, damaging the
antenna motor.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

When installing a new antenna from dealer parts inventory, it must be modified as described below before installation.

Items required:
10 in. x 6 in. plastic bag 
Plastic tie wrap 
Plastic tape

Cut the plastic bag so that it is open at both ends.
