Insert the new soft foam run rubber seal in place of the hard foam rope seal (see Figure 3).

Re-install the glass run rubber.  Feed the run rubber back into the door channel (see Figure 4).

NOTE:  

If the run rubber is pulled completely out of the door channel, apply a small amount of soapy water solution to it and feed it down into the door
channel.

Make sure the notch/guide on the run rubber is placed on top of the door's vertical channel (see Figure 4).

7.

Cycle the window up/down/up and test that the noise is gone.

8.

Repeat Steps 1 through 7 for the other front window, if necessary.
