1997 PATHFINDER - DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)
P1105 AND/OR DTC P0105 STORED IN THE ECM

APPLIED VEHICLE(S):
1997 Pathfinder (RSO)

SERVICE INFORMATION

If a 1997 Pathfinder has a malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) "On" incident DTC P1105 (manifold absolute pressure/barometric pressure [MAP/BARO]
switch solenoid valve) and/or DTC P0105 (absolute pressure sensor) stored in the engine control module (ECM), the cause may be a sticking
MAP/BARO switch solenoid valve. Perform the following SERVICE PROCEDURE to diagnose and repair the incident.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Connect CONSULT. Turn the ignition switch "On" (do not start the engine).

Use CONSULT to perform the following procedure:

Inspect for mis-routed, disconnected, or clogged vacuum hoses at the MAP/BARO switch solenoid valve (see page EC-276 of the 1997 Pathfinder
