Install a new push nut on the RH end of the front lifter shaft (see Figure 10).

12.

Use a 17 mm socket and place it over the push nut. Carefully tap the socket with a hammer to press the push nut against the seat frame. Ensure no
gap exists between the push nut and the seat frame (see Figure 11).

13.

Re-install the seat bottom cushion on the seat frame. Torque the four M8 bolts to 18-23 Nm, 13-17 ft-lbs.

14.

Hook the seat flap to the seat bottom.

15.

Re-install the finisher and knobs in reverse order of disassembly.

16.

Reinstall the driver seat assembly into the vehicle in the reverse order of disassembly. Tighten the four M1O bolts that attach the seat assembly to
the floor of the vehicle to 43-55 Nm, 32-41 ft-lbs. Refer to the Service Manual page BT-45 for the tightening torque of other fasteners.

17.

Confirm proper operation of the slide and lift functions of the seat.

18.

Confirm the seat belt warning light functions properly.

19.

Drive the vehicle again to confirm the incident has been resolved.
