Drive the vehicle to confirm the incident.

2.

Disconnect the seat belt warning light connector and remove the driver seat assembly from the vehicle. Refer to Service Manual pages BT-43 and
BT-45 for seat removal procedure.

3.

Place the driver seat on a clean, dry and flat surface.

4.

Remove the RH side finisher cover (2 screws) from seat assembly (see Figure 2).

5.

Remove both seat adjusting knobs (LH side). A spring clip at the back of the knob fastens it to a shaft. Use a tool with a hook end and pull the
spring clip. Then, pull the knob off the shaft (see Figure 3).
