Remove the original bound bumper steel seat (see Figure 1).

NOTE:

Set aside the bolt from the original steel seat for use in step 5, below.

Separate one replacement bound bumper from its new steel seat (see Figure 2).

NOTE:

The replacement bound bumper and steel seat are included in the Bound Bumper Assembly referred to in the PARTS INFORMATION section
of this bulletin.

Install the replacement bound bumper steel seat (see Figure 3). Use the bolt from the original steel seat that you set aside in step 3 when installing
the new seat.

Extend the distance between two coils of the right-hand rear coil spring, using a large screwdriver or pry bar (as done in step 2). Insert the
replacement bound bumper through the middle of the spring coils and install onto the bound bumper steel seat.

WARNING:

Be careful not to get your fingers caught in the coil springs.

CAUTION:

Place a shop rag between the pry bar and spring coils to protect the anti- corrosion paint coating on the springs (see Figure 3).

7.

Repeat steps 2 through 6 for the left-hand rear bound bumper.
