The armature, Fig. 19, begins to rotate when it receives a signal from the control unit. This turns the crankpin which engages and rotates the Geneva
gear. When the Geneva gear contacts any of the three terminals within the housing, the armature stops rotating and holds the injection pump control lever
in position.
