Pulsar L4-1809cc 1.8L DOHC (CA18DE) (1988)
If the clearance between the clamp and the hose is less than 15 mm (9/16 in), the harness should be rerouted as shown in Figure 2, using the enclosed tie
wraps to secure the alternator harness to the adjusting bar. If the vehicle has a 1988 adjusting bar (see Figure 3), make sure the harness clamp is secured
to the adjusting bar tab as shown.
NOTE:
The previous type adjusting bar was used in early production 1988 Pulsar SE A/C kits, and later production kits have the correct 1988 adjusting bar. See
Parts Bulletin NBP 88-04 for a description of the early and later production A/C kits and how to identify them.
