Remove the C-clip on the back side of the key cylinder switch (see Figure 1).

Remove the metal bracket that contains the lock rod from the key cylinder switch.

Remove the switch housing from the key cylinder.

NOTE:

The center of the switch (rotor) is indexed to the switch housing. Do not rotate the center of the switch when it is removed. Be sure to install it
in the same position during assembly. Align the index mark of the switch housing to the index mark on the center of the switch.

Blow out any moisture with compressed air.

To waterproof the electrical connections, apply Nye Lubricant 774L grease (P/N 999MP-CH000) to the switch housing and the key cylinder. This
grease is non-conductive and does not damage plastic.

Reassemble the key cylinder switch.

8.

Connector D8 (driver's door), D1O (passenger door) and D202 (sliding door) are 4-pin connectors with 3 wires. Blow out any water and pack the
grease into the back side of this connector. Take special care to pack grease into the blank pin location. Do the same for the mating connector.

9.

Inspect the harness. Make sure there is no damage from the latch screws.
