Service Procedure

The following service procedure applies to the second row right hand (passenger side) captain's seat.

1.

Pull on the straps located at the rear base of the seat to unlock the seat from the striker plates in the floor.

2.

Remove the seat from the vehicle and place it in the right position on a clean work surface free of sharp edges that may damage the seat
upholstery.

NOTE: 

Place the seat in the upright position (as shown in Figure 1) when performing the following service procedure to ensure proper
disassembly/re-assembly of the seat track and to avoid upholstery damage.

3.

Remove three screws and remove the side cover from the seat (see Figure 1).

4.

Remove one bolt and remove the seat belt buckle (see Figure 2).

5.

Pull the seat slide release handle up and slide the seat all the way to its forward position.
