CLAIMS INFORMATION

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Remove one front brake caliper assembly and rotor.

^ Refer to the BR section in the applicable ESM for removal information.

2. Replace the backing plate with the P/N listed in the PARTS INFORMATION section above.

3. Inspect the front brake rotor.

^ Determine if brake rotor resurfacing is possible, or if replacement is necessary.

^ Refer to the BR section of the applicable ESM for brake rotor inspection information, if needed.

4. If rotor resurfacing is possible, make sure to use the ProCut PFM Series On-Car Brake Lathe.

5. If necessary, replace the rotors with the P/N listed in the PARTS INFORMATION section.

^ If one rotor needs to be replaced, replace both rotors.

^ Do not replace only one rotor.

6. Reinstall the brake caliper assembly.

7. Inspect the front brake pads and front brake caliper hardware.

^ Replace each, as needed only.
