Cut a 60 mm (2-3/8 inch) diameter hole in the engine wall insulator, centered around the existing perforated hole (as illustrated below).
Remove the cut piece.

Remove the blind plug from the drain hose and discard the plug.

4.

Continue installing the cooling unit according to the installation instructions.
