SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.

2.

Disconnect the negative battery cable so the engine cannot be accidentally cranked.

3.

Locate and remove the crankshaft position sensor from the bell housing.

4.

Install the Flex Plate Ring Gear Stopper tool (J45353) as follows:

A.

Insert the tool into the crankshaft position sensor hole.

B.

Loosen the set screw on the tool.
