SERVICE INFORMATION

The 1987 Stanza and Sentra models are equipped with new "shock absorber" type front seat belts that feature a sewn-in loop close to the lower anchor. If
the belt is severely stressed, the stitching that forms this loop will intentionally break, allowing the belt to extend slightly. When this happens, a
"REPLACE BELT" label will become visible above the belt loop cover, and the seat belt must be replaced.
