Carefully trim upper anchor bolt hole using utility knife as shown below.

Remove original retractor unit.

Install retro-fit retractor in position shown below and finger tighten mounting bolts. Install locating screw (# 01451-00171). Tighten anchor
bolt to 26-32 ft.lbs. (3.65-4.65 kg-m).

13.

Install retro-fit belt upper anchor and torque mounting bolt to 26-32 ft.lbs. (3.65-4.65 kg-m).

14.

Install retro-fit belt lower anchor where original retractor was located. Torque anchor bolt to 26-32 ft.lbs. (3.65-4.65 kg-m).

15.

Remove original female buckle and install retro-fit female buckle.

16.

Reinstall quarter panel finisher and snap retro-fit belt access finisher into position.

17.

Check retro-fit belt for smooth operation.

18.

Reinstall any accessories removed from quarter panel finisher.

19.

Secure ends of rear hatch sill.

20.

Install mounting brackets for rear seat backs.

21.

Reinstall rear seat backs.

22.

Reinstall rear lower seat cushion.

23.

Reinstall rear carpet.

24.

Reinstall retractable cargo shade (if equipped).
