REMOVAL

Draining Radiator

1. Drain cooling system, then disconnect radiator hose from thermostat housing.

Exploded View- Water Pump

2. Remove thermostat housing attaching bolts, then housing.
3. Remove thermostat.

INSTALLATION

1. Install thermostat.
2. Insure surfaces are clean and apply a bead of liquid gasket to thermostat housing.
3. Install thermostat housing and bolts.

Torque to: 7 - 8 N-m (5.1 - 5.8 ft.lb.)

4. Install radiator hose and clamp, then test system for leaks using an appropriate tester.
5. Fill system with coolant, run engine for a few minutes and retest for leaks.
