Yaw Rate Sensor: Service and Repair

G SENSOR

Removal and Installation

EXPLODED VIEW

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery negative terminal.
2. Remove driver seat.  See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat/Removal and Installation.
3. Partially remove and reposition carpet from driver seat area.  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Carpet/Service and Repair.

4. Disconnect harness connector (A).
5. Remove attaching nuts (B) and remove yaw rate/side/decel G sensor (1).

CAUTION:
-

Do not drop or strike the yaw rate/side/decel G sensor.

-

Do not use power tools to remove or install yaw rate/side/decel G sensor.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
