*Refer to Accessory Bulletin NAB/03-030 announcing Satellite Radio availability for specifics.
The service information provided here only clarifies the most important areas in the Satellite Radio antenna installation instructions. Carefully follow the
installation instructions provided with the antenna kit.
To assure proper adhesion of the antenna "tail" and prevent water leaks, technicians must
Position the antenna "tail" very carefully and precisely at the rear window seal.
Correctly place butyl gum (3 pieces) and clear tape where the antenna wires enter the trunk.
Antenna Tail Installation Tips
The antenna wires must be centered in the grooves of the rubber antenna tail flap.
The antenna wires go under the rear window rubber molding, and the rubber antenna tail flap goes over the window rubber molding.
Always clean the roof panel with an alcohol paper "wipe" (or 50/50 water/alcohol solution) prior to installing antenna.
