Power Steering Pump: Service and Repair
Removal/Installation

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect variable effort steering electrical connector, if equipped.
3. Remove power steering pump lines at pump, Fig.19 .
4. Remove power steering pump mounting bolts, then pump.
5. Reverse procedure to install, torque power steering pump mounting bolts to 19 ft. lbs.
