Steering Wheel: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove the attaching screws for the steering pad.
2.
Remove the pad and horn lead, then remove the steering wheel retainer and nut.
3.
On 1990-91 models, remove the dampener, if equipped.
4.
On all models, remove the steering wheel with a suitable steering wheel puller.
5.
Reverse procedure to install.
