Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Front
Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
3. Remove the throttle body duct.
4. Remove the exhaust crossover heat shield.
5. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Service and Repair.
6. Remove the crossover pipe at the exhaust manifold.
7. Remove the upper radiator hose from the thermostat housing.
8. Disconnect the ignition wires from the front spark plugs and position aside.
