Rear Door Window Motor: Service and Repair

Rear Side Door Window Regulator Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Close the window.
2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement  See: Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair
3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement   (See: Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair).

4. Remove the window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement   (See: Rear Door Window Regulator/Service and Repair

).

5. Remove the fasteners (1,2,3) securing the power window motor to the window regulator.
6. Remove the power window motor from the regulator.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the power window motor (1) to the window regulator (3).

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice   in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the power window motor to regulator fasteners.

Tighten the power window motor fasteners to 4 Nm (62 lb in).

3. Install the window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement   (See: Rear Door Window Regulator/Service and Repair).
