27 Style

Trim Panel - 27 Style

NOTICE: When removing a door trim panel that has a power window switch attached, the ignition switch must be in the "off" position. This will
eliminate the possibility of shorting out the switch if a screwdriver or awl is used to remove the switch from the harness.

27 and 69 styles have an automatic safety belt system. The following procedures will cover the trim panels for this system.

Remove or Disconnect

1. Inner belt sealing strip.
2. Escutcheon (4).
3. Screws (6).
4. Retainer (5).
5. Screws (7).
6. Screws (9) under pull handle.
7. Screw (11).
8. Electrical connections to escutcheon (3) and/or locking knob if equipped.
9. Escutcheon (3).

10. Screws (8).
11. Retractor cover (10).
12. Window regulator handle (12) if equipped.
13. Trim panel (13) by disengaging fasteners (2) on trim panel from holes in door inner panel using tool J 24595-C or equivalent.

Grasp trim panel and lift up and outboard to disengage retainers at top of trim panel from door inner panel.

Disconnect connections to switches to trim panel.
